Homepage Setting

WordPress allows you to determine what content is displayed on your site’s homepage, giving you the flexibility to tailor the experience for your visitors. Here’s how you can customize your homepage settings:

Choose Your Homepage Display

  1. Your Latest Posts
    • Select this option to display your posts in reverse chronological order. This setup is ideal for blogs or sites that prioritize frequent updates.
    • Posts will automatically appear on the homepage as you publish them, ensuring your content stays fresh and relevant.
  2. A Static Page
    • Opt for this option to set a fixed page as your homepage. This is ideal for business sites or portfolios that require a consistent welcome page.
    • Steps to Set Up a Static Homepage:
      • Create two separate pages: one for your homepage content and another to display your blog posts.
      • Select the desired page for the homepage and assign the other for your posts.

How to Customize

  • Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings.
  • Choose between Your Latest Posts or A Static Page using the checkboxes.
  • Save your changes to apply the new display preference.

With these options, you can design a homepage that perfectly aligns with your site’s purpose and audience needs.
